About this Event
Welcome to the Stockton Maritime Museum's Fall Open House 2026! Join us for a day of local and national maritime history, featuring USS Lucid, the last existing Agressive class ocean going minesweeper, an all-wooden US Navy warship, in the entire United States! Attending means supporting the future development of a permanent museum complex that preserves this ship as well as Stockton's shipbuilding legacy on Stockton's Downtown Waterfront.
Before attending, every attendee is required to register here on our Eventbrite page. Please note: we are collecting donations of $10 each per person ahead of time to avoid no-shows, and donations will not be refunded. You will select a arrival/entry time, and then be able to explore the ship for the rest of the day through 4:30 PM. The last arrival/entry time is 3:20 PM, no exceptions. Due to the size of our ship, we have to manage the flow of foot traffic this way, so we appreciate your understanding.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled entry time to allow time for parking. At 4:30 pm, the ship will close. Food & drink will be available all day for purchase/donation via cash, check, card, PayPal, or Venmo only.

For our out-of-town guests, we are pleased to partner with the University Plaza Waterfront Hotel as our Open House Headquarters. Guests can call the hotel at 209-944-1140 and tell staff to use discount "Lucid" to book rooms at discounted rates. Please let us know if you are staying overnight at this hotel so that we may extend you an invite to our Friday evening welcome event at the hotel on Oct. 2nd. This event is exclusively for UPWH hotel guests!
Ticketing this event is a way for us to support our massive, volunteer-led restoration efforts! We also sell ship souvenirs and food & drink as a way to raise funds, and we provide opportunities to contribute larger amounts and earn a nameplate on our donor board! Donations are payable digitally via card, PayPal, or Venmo. Checks can be mailed to Stockton Maritime Museum, 4290 Cherokee Road, Stockton CA 95215. We are happy to coordinate around cash donations if you reach out to us, and can accept checks and cash on board the ship.

PLEASE NOTE: Lucid is a multi-deck ship with narrow ladders and passageways to navigate around her various compartments.
