Upside Down! Inversion Workshop with Kathleen Kuehn

We get our hearts above our head in this workshop focused on inverted postures - think headstand, handstand and forearm stand! It'll be playful, strong but accessible with loads of options, technique and practice for everyone present.
We'll prep the body for these poses first, then move into the mechanics of each before giving them a go. Expect individualised attention, specific cueing and optional hands-on assists (with consent) to get you upside down!
You'll also get some great takeaway exercises to work on at home if you want to continue the inversion journey!
Why inversions?
Inversions have a host of benefits: they can improve circulation, lymphatic drainage and mental focus; build strength; stimulate digestion and more! But most of all, they're just a lot of fun!
Who is this for?
This workshop is suitable for most levels of practice; you don't need to be an expert, but you'll want at least a few asana classes under your belt. That said, everything you need to know will be offered on the day!
CYTs can also earn 3 CE credits with Yoga Alliance.
This workshop will be capped to keep it manageable -- enrol now so you don't miss out!
About the Facilitator
Kathleen Kuehn (E-RYT 500) who enjoys playful vinyasa classes, challenging asana and stringing them together in creative ways. Anatomy and alignment lover. Can't actually do a handstand herself, but can 100% talk you into getting into (and falling out of!) one yourself in a safe way!
