About this Event
🌺 Bienvenue en Nouvelle-Calédonie ! Just a few hours' flight from Aotearoa, this little piece of France in the Pacific is a world of its own: turquoise water, red earth, pine-covered islands and a rich mix of cultures you won't find anywhere else.
Join Djena for a fun and immersive workshop (en français !) and dive into the island's story. You'll learn about its history, from the Kanak people who first settled it to the arrival of James Cook and the French. You'll tour the must-see spots, from Nouméa's beaches to the Centre culturel Tjibaou. And you'll pick up some Caledonian expressions that will surprise even French speakers 😉
And of course, we'll finish on a sweet note with a tasting of poé citrouille, a pumpkin and coconut dessert loved across the Pacific, plus a few surprises! 🥥
