Upcycled Textile Craft Show
Friday, October 16th, 5pm-7:30pm
Inviting Kansas City craft designers age 10 to adult to present your upcycled textile and join us in finding sustainable ways to use textiles and build a healthy community.
3 winners will recieve a cash prize.
Designer/Maker Entry registration required by Oct 10th.
Designer/Maker Entry Fees:
$15 for students age 10 to college
$20 for General
(Attending the show is free, so please invite your family and friends.)

Eligibility & Submissions
- Originality: All entries must be the original work of the submitting artist or designer.
- Upcycled Content: A minimum of 90% -100% of the materials used must be sourced from textile waste, deadstock, pre-loved garments, or discarded fabric scraps.
- Submission Limit: Each participant may submit up to two separate items.
- If the participant is under the age of 18, a parent or guardian needs to sign this form and accompany them on the evening of the event.
Categories
- Wearable Fashion: Avant-garde, ready-to-wear, and street fashion.
- Textile Art: Wall hangings, sculptures, and mixed-media fiber art.
- Accessories: Bags, footwear, jewelry, and headwear.
- Kitchen accessories: hotpads, placemats, and tea towels.
Selling your items: SC will evaluate the marketability of your work and, if it meets our requirements, we will be able to offer it for sale on your behalf. You will set the price. We will not be responsible for damage or loss of your items.
