The exhibition UNSPOKEN ECHOES will take place from October 10 to 17, 2026, at the Hub/Art Barcelona Contemporary Gallery, located in the Barceloneta neighborhood (Carrer del Dr. Trueta 183), with the official opening on Saturday, October 10, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
UNSPOKEN ECHOES brings together artists from around the world - including Austria, Saudi Arabia, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, China, Cyprus, Denmark, England, Ireland, Iceland, Finland, France, Germany, Japan, Mexico, Poland, Romania, Scotland, Serbia, the United States, and Sweden - each with a unique contemporary artistic voice and a shared goal: to envision new forms of conscious art.
More than just an exhibition, UNSPOKEN ECHOES is conceived as an immersive artistic experience that builds a dialogue between artistic inquiry, materials, and practice-based research, offering a contemporary perspective on the relationship between creativity and responsibility. Art thus becomes a tool for connection and reflection, capable of telling stories of identity and emotion.
The exhibition's title, UNSPOKEN ECHOES, evokes those silent stories that traverse time without ever fully fading away: passed-down memories, family secrets, forgotten traditions, and objects that hold the traces of the past. The exhibition journey unfolds as an intimate, narrative experience, where each work stands as a testament to a cultural legacy that remains alive through materials, images, and symbols.
The project aims to create a dialogue between past and present, and between diverse cultures and contemporary sensibilities, offering a meeting point where personal experiences and collective memory intersect. Among the exhibited works, the public can explore a variety of disciplines and artistic languages: painting, sculpture, graphic art, photography, textile art and weaving, design objects, and live performances. These creations—crafted using recycled materials or traditional techniques reinterpreted through a modern lens—will reflect the diversity of contemporary artistic inquiry, giving a new voice to what often remains unexplored.
Furthermore, the exhibition space’s large windows will make the artworks visible to passersby, transforming the gallery into an open, permeable bridge connecting the artists, the public, and the city.
Project Mission
The mission of UNSPOKEN ECHOES aligns fully with the vision of Art Space, an organization active for over a decade in promoting contemporary art in Italy and abroad, having produced more than 50 exhibitions and involved over 2,000 international artists.
The objective is twofold: to showcase international contemporary talent and to create genuine opportunities for art and society to connect within settings that engage diverse audiences, extending beyond just industry professionals.
Opening and Awards
The opening event on October 10 will be presented by curator Eva Amos and gallery director Greta Zuccali at 7:15 PM.
The evening will also feature an awards ceremony honoring seven winning artists.
