Unpacking Democracy

Let’s come together and let it all out.
Three days after the Berlin election and a little over two weeks after the election in Saxony-Anhalt, we want to pause and ask:

• What just happened?
• What do these results actually mean, for Berlin, for democracy and for all of us?

This evening is a space to acknowledge what we are feeling, whether that is hope, fear, anger, relief, exhaustion or something we cannot yet name.
Together, we will explore:

• Why are so many people drawn to simple answers to complex problems?
• What do the election results tell us about where we are as a society?
• What do they mean for people and communities directly affected by political shifts?
• Where do we go from here?
• How can we organize, connect and move forward together?

There will be some political context, some invited perspectives and plenty of room for open conversation.
