UNO Social + Tournament | The Front Room Society

Come spend your Friday evening with The Front Room Society.

The Front Room Society brings founders, small business owners, and people with an idea together to get to know one another, share what they’re working on, and support each other along the way.

Join us for UNO, pizza, friendly competition, and time to talk with the people around your table. Whether you’re running a business or figuring out where to start, you’re welcome here. Come on your own or bring a friend.

• Check in between 5:30 and 6:00 PM, pick up your player card, and find your first assigned table.
• Play three qualifying rounds, with new table assignments and quick introductions along the way. Each 20-minute block includes introductions, 15 minutes of scored play, and time to record scores.
• The six players with the lowest combined scores advance to the final table. Everyone else can watch, enjoy casual games, or keep connecting.
• A champion will be crowned and awarded a prize. We’ll close with a group photo and an invitation to stay connected with The Front Room Society.

We’re playing classic UNO—because stacking Draw Fours is how friendships end. 😂

We’ll walk you through everything before play, with instructions at each table.

Pizza from The Rectory Detroit is included with your ticket. We’ll pause the cards for a dedicated pizza and conversation break before returning to play.

The Rectory is our pizza provider next door. The event itself takes place in The Congregation Detroit’s Fellowship Hall on the lower level.

Our Front Room Society Member Spotlight features JaVonte and his clothing brand, Why Not? Enjoy a five-minute showcase with a short launch video and a clothing walk as JaVonte shares what he’s building.
