Join the Detroit Police Department Domestic Violence Unit for a powerful day of remembrance, awareness, empowerment, and community as we come together to Unmask Domestic Violence.
🦋 WALK WITH US. REMEMBER WITH US. MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD.
We invite survivors, families, friends, advocates, and community members to join our Memorial Walk honoring victims and survivors of domestic violence.
💜 Wear your favorite shade of purple💜 Carry posters, signs, photos, or names honoring someone impacted by domestic violence💜 Bring your voice, make some noise, and help us show that victims are remembered, survivors are supported, and no one has to stand alone
Following the walk, stay with us for an uplifting community program featuring empowerment, encouragement, support, and valuable community resources for individuals and families affected by domestic violence.
