About this Event
Menopause affects more than hormones.
Perimenopause and menopause can change the way your body feels, moves, and responds to exercise. Changes in hormones can affect everything from muscle and bone health to pelvic health, balance, strength, recovery, and injury risk — but understanding what’s happening can help you navigate those changes with confidence.
Join Dr. Dana Logan and Dr. Blake Cooper at The PHYT Collective for Unlocking Menopause: Feeling Strong, Informed, and Empowered, a free community workshop designed for women navigating perimenopause and menopause.
During the workshop, Dana and Blake will break down what’s happening in your body and what you can do to support it. We’ll talk about the physiological changes associated with menopause, the latest evidence around HRT, and why strength, power, balance, impact, and cardiovascular exercise all matter during this stage of life. You’ll also learn how to adapt your training around pain, past injuries, or physical limitations — and the role physical therapy can play in helping you stay strong and active for the years ahead.
Come with your questions and leave with a better understanding of your changing body — and practical tools to help you feel stronger, more resilient, and more confident in what comes next.
