UNDERSTANDING YOUR PREDATORY DOGYour dog may have descended from wolves — BUT your dog is NOT a wolf. Domestication and selective breeding have shaped dogs to perform an incredible range of behaviours.
Chasing, tracking, retrieving, herding, gripping, digging and carrying are all part of the canine predatory motor pattern — expressed differently in different dogs.
In this seminar, learn to:
• Understand the science behind the canine predatory motor pattern.
• Recognise enhanced and diminished predatory motor pattern behaviours across breeds.
• Understand YOUR INDIVIDUAL DOG and their individual variation rather than simply relying on breed labels.
• Use their natural behavioural tendencies to create meaningful enrichment and fulfilment.
• Build a deeper relationship by understanding WHY your dog does what they do.
Stop asking, “How do I stop this behaviour?”
Start asking, “Why is my dog performing this behaviour? What is my dog telling me?”
