Understanding Cuba: Building People-to-People Connections

Join us for an evening of conversation and connection with Dayanis García Fariñas, a representative of the Martin Luther King Center in Cuba, as part of a U.S. speaker tour focused on strengthening people-to-people relationships.
Together, we’ll explore questions such as: Why should people in the United States care about what happens in Cuba? How do U.S. policies affect everyday people in Cuba, and how are our communities connected?
Inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. 's reminder that we are “caught in an inescapable network of mutuality,” this gathering invites thoughtful conversation about Cuba, solidarity, and our shared responsibilities across borders.
