Celebrating the International Year of Volunteers and UNA-Westchester's PartnersAbout this Event
This year's UN Day is dedicated to celebrating the International Day of Volunteers and honoring UNA-Westchester’s long-term partnerships with volunteer organizations that have sustained us over the years. The event will feature an international keynote speaker, Vincent Valdmanis, who was a UN Volunteer at the beginning of his UN career, in dialogue with a senior UNA-USA official. The keynote dialogue will be followed by an insightful panel discussion on the value, contributions and drawbacks of reliance on volunteers. The panel will be moderated by Katie Pfeifer of Volunteer New York.
