TWO SONGWRITING LEGENDS • ONE NIGHT .• ZERO ADMISSIONThere are songwriters… and then there are LEGENDS.
The Frank Brown Songwriters Festival is giving the community an extraordinary gift — a performance featuring TWO Nashville Songwriters Hall of Famers: SONNY THROCKMORTON & RAFE VAN HOY!
SONNY THROCKMORTON is a true giant of country songwriting. With more than 1,000 songs recorded, Sonny’s remarkable career includes Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame induction, three consecutive NSAI Songwriter of the Year honors, BMI Songwriter of the Year, numerous #1 hits, and the prestigious ACM Poet’s Award. His songs have been recorded by some of the biggest names in country music and it's our privilege and honor to have him grace our stage this year, along with his good friend Rafe.
RAFE VAN HOY brings his own extraordinary songwriting legacy to the stage as a Nashville Songwriters Hall of Famer. He has had more than a dozen Top-10 hits including multiple #1’s.
And they won’t be taking the stage alone! Rhonda Hart will bring her signature harmonies and Mac Walter will be on guitar — two longtime festival family favorites who have shared the stage with Sonny and Rafe on special occasions.
This isn’t just a songwriter round. It’s a rare gathering of legendary songwriting talent —
shared as a gift from the heavens above!
Flora-Bama Main Room • 8:20 PM until the round is finished by the artists.
We want to highlight an unforgettable songwriting legend with another songwriting legend, and a night of music, with the community that has supported the Frank Brown Songwriters Festival for so many years.
Come early and get your seat. Once at capacity, we cannot accommodate special requests.
And once these legends take the stage… they’ll play until they’re ready to finish!
TWO SONGWRITING LEGENDS • ONE NIGHT • ZERO ADMISSION
