Join Friends of the St. Clair River for our longest running eco-stewardship project every Tuesday at 10am from April 28th to October 27th!
The Blue Water River Walk is a 1-mile stretch of restored shoreline on the St. Clair River in downtown Port Huron. Invasive plants along the Blue Water River Walk are among the greatest threats to wildlife habitat because they outcompete the native plants that wildlife need for food and shelter.
We work every Tuesday morning to remove invasive plants, care for native plants, and monitor pollinators, birds and other wildlife.
Become a community scientist and hone your identification skills by attending a Tuesday Trek! All ages, abilities, and experience levels are welcome.
Location: 2210 Military Street (SOUTH entrance of park). Look for the Blue Water River Walk County Park sign. Parking is available at the bottom of the hill near the Bean Dock.

Thank you to the St. Clair County Parks and Recreation Commission for supporting our stewardship and restoration activities at the Blue Water River Walk and Wetlands County Park.
