🧟♀️🍄 TUCSON LITTER BURNERS: THE LAST OF US CLEANUP! 🍄🧟♂️Sunday, November 1st | 10 AM – Noon
📍 3957 E. Paradise Falls Dr., Tucson
Calling all zombies, monsters, vampires, mushroom people, and other creatures of the night! 👹
It’s the day after Halloween, and we’re keeping the spooky spirit alive with a cleanup inspired by The Last of Us! If you’ve seen the show, you know it’s about a fungus that takes over humans and transforms them into terrifying mushroom creatures. 🍄
Whether you’re infected, undead, or your own unique kind of monster, ALL creatures are welcome! Come dressed in your most monstrous looks and help us reclaim the land from litter!
⚠️ A word of caution: Our cleanup zone is full of thorny branches, sharp objects, and other hazards lurking on the ground. Please wear closed-toe shoes and protective clothing suitable for battling the elements. Costumes are encouraged, but safety comes first!
🧤 Gloves, trash bags, and litter grabbers will be provided!
💚 A LITTLE ANNOUNCEMENT FROM AVID:
This will be the last Tucson Litter Burners cleanup that I’ll be able to attend or host until May 2027!
I’d love for our litter-loving little monster crew to keep making a difference while I’m away. If anyone would like to take over scheduling future cleanups and bringing supplies, you’re welcome to pick up the tools and supplies from me at this event! Let’s keep the momentum going!
Thank you all SO MUCH for being part of this community and helping make Tucson a cleaner, more beautiful place. Every piece of litter we collect makes a difference, and I can’t wait to get out there and do it with you all again!
See you November 1st! Come as you are… or as whatever monster you want to be! 🧟♀️🖤🍄
