Have you ever wondered how confidently we can trust the New Testament text after centuries of hand-copying?

Join us at Central Baptist Theological Seminary for a half-day event exploring exactly how the Scriptures were copied and preserved over the centuries. Our featured speaker, renowned New Testament scholar Dr. Daniel B. Wallace, will address a critical question: How reliably has the New Testament been preserved?

Throughout four sessions, Dr. Wallace will walk us through the history of scribal transmission, unpack the reality of textual variants, and demonstrate why our core doctrinal beliefs remain secure. Whether you are a pastor, a seminary student, or simply someone who loves God's Word, this conference will equip you with a deeper assurance in the Scriptures.

About Our Speaker: Dr. Daniel B. Wallace

Dr. Wallace influences students across the country through his textbook on intermediate Greek grammar. It has become the standard textbook in the English-speaking world on that subject. He is a member of the Society of New Testament Studies, the Institute for Biblical Research, the Society of Biblical Literature, and the Evangelical Theological Society (of which he was president in 2016).

Dr. Wallace is also the senior New Testament editor of the NET Bible, and a member of the Committee on Bible Translation, which is responsible for revisions to the NIV.

He works extensively in textual criticism, and has founded the Center for the Study of New Testament Manuscripts (CSNTM.org), an institute with an initial purpose of preserving Scripture by taking digital photographs of all known Greek New Testament manuscripts. He has traveled the world in search of biblical manuscripts. His postdoctoral work includes work on Greek grammar at Tyndale House in Cambridge, text-critical studies at the Institut für Neutestamentliche Textforschung in Münster, and the Universität Tübingen, Germany.

Dr. Wallace and his wife, Pati, have four adult sons, two daughters-in-law, three granddaughters, and one grandson.
