About this Event
You’ve built the career. You’ve done what was expected. You’ve learned how to be responsible, successful, and dependable.
But maybe there’s a part of you wondering:
What if I built something of my own?
Maybe you have an idea you’ve been sitting on. Maybe you want to create another stream of income. Maybe you’re craving more flexibility, creativity, ownership, or freedom.
Or maybe you don’t know exactly what you want yet; you just know you want to explore.
You don’t have to quit your job. You don’t need a perfect business idea. And you definitely don’t need to have it all figured out.
You just need space to imagine what’s possible.
What Is Built on YOUR Terms?
Built on YOUR Terms is a 3-hour interactive vision and entrepreneurship experience created for women of color and daughters of immigrants who are curious about entrepreneurship and ready to explore what building something of their own could look like.
This isn’t about telling you to quit your 9–5 tomorrow.
It’s about giving yourself permission to think beyond the traditional path—and figuring out what your version of entrepreneurship could look like.
Maybe it’s a side hustle.
Maybe it’s consulting.
Maybe it’s a creative project.
Maybe it’s a business that eventually becomes your full-time work.
There is no one right way to build.

Come for the Vision. Stay for the Community.
We’re intentionally creating space to network, connect, and build relationships with other women in the room.
You’ll have opportunities to share your story, exchange ideas, meet potential collaborators, and connect with women who are also exploring what’s possible beyond the traditional career path.
Because building something of your own doesn’t have to mean building alone.

Come With an Idea or Come With Nothing
You don’t need to arrive knowing what business you want to start.
We’ll help you look at your experiences, skills, interests, and the problems you care about solving and start connecting the dots.
Because sometimes the first step isn’t starting a business.
It’s giving yourself permission to imagine one.
Meet Your Founders
Dilim Dieke & Dipabali Chowdhury are the co-founders of Truly You LLC, created to help women of color and daughters of immigrants explore what’s possible beyond the traditional career path.
Through their own experiences navigating careers, identity, expectations, and the desire to build something meaningful, Dilim and Dipabali recognized the need for a space where women could explore their ideas without feeling like they had to choose between stability and possibility.
Built on YOUR Terms is an extension of that mission: creating a space where women can get curious, gain clarity, connect with one another, and begin building something of their own.
About Truly You LLC
