About this Event
The most powerful leadership coaching starts with a quiet admission.
It happens when a newly promoted manager confesses they spend Sunday evenings rehearsing how to sound like they know what they are doing. It happens when the person everyone turns to in a crisis realises there is nobody they can turn to. It happens when a high performer, already good at the job, asks what it would take to lead at a whole other level.
That is the coaching this workshop prepares you for.
What this is about
People arrive at leadership coaching from every direction. A new team lead is working it out as they go, a business owner feels the weight of everyone depending on them, and a professional is preparing for the next step and wants to be ready for it. Under every one of those goals sits the same question: "Who do I need to become to lead well?"
This workshop is a hands-on, practical deep dive into the inner game of leadership. You will learn how to work with imposter syndrome in someone who looks completely in control, how to coach the identity shift that comes with stepping into a bigger role, and how to hold space for the weight of being the person everyone else looks to. You will also learn how to partner with people who are ready to grow and want a sharper, braver version of their own leadership. Because this is a live community event, you will meet people who are leading, preparing to lead, or wanting to lead better, and you will coach your matched client across up to 3 sessions afterwards.
You will walk away knowing how to:
- Work with imposter syndrome in a leader who has every reason to feel confident
- Coach the shift from being one of the team to being the person who leads it
- Hold space for the loneliness that comes with being the one others look to
- Help growth-minded clients turn "I want to lead better" into a clear picture of what better looks like
- Help leaders move from needing all the answers to asking better questions
- Keep a client moving when pressure from above and below pulls them back toward old habits
Before the day, you will receive TruCoach™ resources built exclusively for this theme, content you will not find anywhere in the standard curriculum.
Why this matters for your practice
People hire coaches for strategy, communication and performance. Underneath those goals sits the real work, which is who the person is becoming in the role. Few coaches are trained for that layer, and few clients can find someone who can hold it. This workshop is built around that gap.
You will leave with a clear way of coaching leadership at the level of identity, and the confidence to stay with a client through the kind of change that takes more than a session or two. The same inner game you learn to coach in others is the one you lead from, so what you practise here shapes how you show up for your clients and for the people who look to you. Whether leadership coaching is new to you or already a part of your practice, this will change how you show up for the clients who need you most.
How the afternoon works
Wei Ping, our ICF-MCC trainer, runs a pre-event session to set you up before the day. On 7 November you join small-group conversations with clients, then go through our guided chemistry match, which pairs you with someone who suits the way you coach. Your coaching sessions follow after the event, and the team brings you together afterwards for a debrief and a customised testimonials package.
This is for you if:
- You have completed your training and wonder whether you are ready for leadership clients
- You already coach leaders and feel there is a deeper layer of the work you have not reached yet
- You want to coach people who are leading, preparing to lead, or wanting to lead better
- You want to coach the person behind the title, beyond the goal on the table
- You lead a team, a practice or a community and want to lead with more clarity, presence and ease
- You want a framework you can use in your very next session
- You are an ACC or PCC coach looking to sharpen your edge in one of the most in-demand niches in coaching
Because the best leaders aren't the ones with all the answers. They're the ones who've done the work.
