Truckee Energy Resilience Plan: Community Workshop

Monday, November 9, 2026 | 5:00–6:30 PM

Truckee Tahoe Airport

The Town of Truckee is developing an Energy Resilience Plan to identify strategies that can help our community prepare for and respond to power outages due to extreme weather, wildfire, and other disruptions to energy services.

Join the Town and project team to learn about the Energy Resilience Plan, hear key findings from the planning process and community engagement to date, and help shape the draft strategies being considered for Truckee’s future.

The workshop will include an interactive opportunity for community members to review, discuss, and provide feedback on draft strategies. Participants will be invited to share what resonates, identify gaps or concerns, and help ensure the strategies reflect the needs and priorities of the Truckee community.

Your input will help inform the final Energy Resilience Plan and the actions the Town can take to strengthen energy resilience in Truckee.

All community members are welcome. No prior knowledge of the Energy Resilience Plan is required. Light refreshments will be provided. Live Spanish interpretation will be available.
