*THIS IS OUR LAST YIN & SOUND BATH AT SPIRIT REBEL COLLECTIVE!* This has been a steady monthly offerings, one of our favorites to facilitate and one of our students favorites to receive. Come enjoy this blissful experience in our beautiful studio before we close our doors on December 15th!
DETAILS
Yin yoga and sound baths are a perfect pairing for a deeply relaxing and rejuvenating experience.
Yin yoga is a slow-paced, meditative practice that targets the deeper tissues of the body (connective tissues/fascia). It involves holding passive postures for extended periods to promote flexibility, relaxation, and inner stillness.
While enjoying these poses students will be surrounded by sound-emitting instruments like gongs, singing bowls, drums and more. The vibrations from these instruments wash over you, promoting a state of deep relaxation, reducing stress and anxiety, and even helping to heal and balance the body's energy.
This is a rejuvenating practice that is great for those with limited mobility or anyone desiring to relieve stress, slow down, gently create space in the body, and increase flexibility.
We will close the practice with a guided Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation rooted in ancient yogic traditions that aims to induce a state of deep relaxation and consciousness. It involves elements such as body scan meditation and visualizations, and it has been found to have several mental, physical, and emotional benefits. It is done lying down in final rest pose.
