#HokieHike is back! Since 2020, thousands of Hokies have enjoyed this tradition from wherever they are.Join the Triangle Alumni Chapter for an approximately 4 mile loop covering part of the Loblolly (moderate, hiking) and Reedy Creek (moderate, multi-use) trails at Umstead State Park. Use the Reedy Creek Entrance (Exit 287 off of I-40) and meet us at the Loblolly Trail trailhead around 9:50 am. We will start our hike at 10 am.
Kids and pets are welcome and Hokie gear is encouraged! Please bring your own water and snacks.
Those interested are welcome to join us for post-hike socializing at a TBD local brewery or restaurant.
In the case of inclement weather, a cancellation or reschedule notice will be sent out via email and social media by 9 am the day of the hike.
Interested in your own Hokie Hike swag? Register for the official event (runs Oct. 1-Nov. 17) at alumni.vt.edu/hokiehike26. $5 of each registration package supports Rec Sports at Virginia Tech.
Registration not required to participate in the Triangle Hokie Hike event.

Adults - $35 - includes short sleeve t-shirt, a water bottle sling or lantern, and a sticker sheet
Adults and Pet - $40 - includes includes short sleeve t-shirt, water bottle sling or lantern, sticker sheet, and collapsible pet bowl
Pets - $10 - includes collapsible pet bowl
Kids - $20 - includes youth short sleeve t-shirt and sticker sheet
Current Virginia Tech Students - $25 - includes short sleeve t-shirt and sticker sheet
