About this Event
This workshop is part of the CONNECT x Canopy Alliance Cohort and will focus on:
- Free online tools to build or strengthen your community's tree ordinance
- A closer look at example ordinances from within Allegheny County
- Discussion and Q&A with experts in the field
Participants will have the opportunity to submit specific questions about their municipal tree ordinance in advance to inform discussion topics. Lunch will be provided!
This workshop is intended for municipal staff and officials, shade tree commission and committee members, and environmental advisory council (EAC) members. For those who joined last year's Tree Ordinances 101 workshop, 201 will provide new topics of focus, continued learning, and valuable discussion. Attendance at 101 is not necessary for 201.
Event participants may be photographed or filmed by Allegheny County Conservation District, its sponsors or their respective employees, agents and assigns, and the photograph and/or other digital reproduction of participants or physical likeness may be published in print, digitally and/or electronically, in any media including, without limitation, the internet.
We aim to make our events as accessible as possible. This space is indoors, wheelchair accessible and restrooms will be available. More details can be found at https://www.thehighline.org/visit/.
