TRANSCENDENCE | A Kambo Kinship CeremonyAn Invitation to Purification, Presence & Remembrance
There are moments along our journey when we feel called to release what we have been carrying, reconnect with our bodies, and create space for something new.
**TRANSCENDENCE** is an intimate ceremonial gathering rooted in the traditional Amazonian practice of Kambo, held with reverence for the natural world, the wisdom of ancestral traditions, and the sacred relationship between body, mind, and spirit.
Kambo is a secretion from the *Phyllomedusa bicolor*, commonly known as the giant monkey tree frog. Indigenous communities of the Amazon have worked with Kambo in traditional contexts associated with purification, endurance, preparation, and spiritual practice.
At EDENOLOGY Holistic Wellness, our approach is informed by the ceremonial principles of **curanderismo**, honoring intentional preparation, reverence, community, and integration.
The Science & Spirit of Kambo
Kambo contains a complex mixture of biologically active peptides that interact with various systems throughout the body. Researchers have identified compounds with effects on physiological processes involving pain signaling, blood vessels, and gastrointestinal activity.
These compounds are powerful. Beyond its biochemical properties, Kambo carries cultural and ceremonial significance.
Participants may approach this experience with intentions of personal reflection, emotional exploration, spiritual connection, or marking a meaningful transition in their lives.
Within our Kinship Ceremony, we honor the space between scientific curiosity and spiritual tradition, recognizing that each person's experience is unique.

Our intention is to create an environment where individuals feel informed, respected, and supported in making their own choices.
**This is not about becoming someone new. It is about creating space to remember who you are.**
Preparation, Screening & Safety
**All first-time participants must complete a consultation, health screening, and informed-consent process before being considered for ceremony.** Certain medical conditions, medications, and other individual factors may make participation unsafe.
Screening reduces risks. Participation is voluntary, and Kambo is not a substitute for medical or mental health care.
