About this Event
Train Attention Through Acting Exercises
An interactive, small-group workshop for adults in NYC. No acting experience needed.
When was the last time you practiced paying attention to another person?
I’m Eevahn, a professional actor. In my first year of acting school, attention was one of the skills we practiced again and again. It shaped how we listened to a partner, noticed what was happening in the room, and responded in the moment.
I created Train Attention to share that kind of practice with people.
This is the first Train Attention workshop. I’m keeping the group small so everyone has room to participate. What we’ll do
During this 90-minute workshop, we’ll try a series of active exercises drawn from actor training. We’ll practice noticing, listening, working together, and responding when something changes. There will be time to reflect on what each exercise brought up.
You’ll work with other people in a small, welcoming group. You won’t need to prepare, memorize lines, or perform a character.
Who it’s for
This workshop is for adults who are curious about practicing focus, listening, and being more present with other people. No acting experience is required.
