About this Event
We invite you to our table for an informal drawing session and folk music workshop to visually interpret music and movement, and with imagination, approach themes of folklore and storytelling.
This workshop is intended to open up the space for more interpretive drawing styles than classical life drawing, and to create an inclusive space for all drawing abilities. Materials are provided.
In Episode 11, we are excited to present Francis Ssuna; accomplished kora player and percussionist.
Francis Ssuna uses music to explore the depths of his own Being while realigning himself to the natural flow of the world around him. Through his diverse musical expressions, and child-like enthusiasm towards life, his art is a statement of ‘Freedom in Authenticity’ creating space for others to come out and play.
Join us to experience the incredible depths of Kora sounds and interpret the universe on paper.
