About this Event

AI isn’t just about tech, it’s about people. This session explores how organizations are building skills, capability, and learning programs to prepare employees for AI-driven work.

As AI reshapes jobs and workflows, organizations need more than technology, they need people ready to adapt. Sterre van der Laken and Irene Escobar Castells will share how learning, capability building, and AI enablement programs help teams develop the skills to work alongside AI and drive meaningful transformation.

Sterre van der Laken is Strategy and Programs Lead at the AI Centre at Salesforce, where she leads design-led AI programmes and strategic initiatives that help organisations navigate the rapidly evolving AI landscape. Her work focuses on bridging strategy and execution, bringing together cross-functional teams to turn emerging AI capabilities into practical, real-world solutions. She is also a frequent speaker on AI, leadership, and design thinking, helping leaders understand how to translate AI innovation into meaningful business impact.

Irene Escobar Castells is the AI Learning & Transformation Manager at IAG Transform, where she leads initiatives to build AI capability, drive organisational change, and accelerate digital transformation. She focuses on empowering teams through AI education, strategic enablement, and thoughtful integration of artificial intelligence into business processes to unlock value and drive sustainable growth.
