About this Event
What do you do with a chair when the leg has come loose? A lamp that no longer works? A toaster that doesn't toast? A holey jumper? Throw it away? No way!
Getting into the habit of repairing and reusing things helps us all. Saves money too of course. Don't leave it in a cupboard - with a little help from us, you can fix it yourself!
Call on us for any difficult bits - we have a lot of experence to bring you too.
We Repair Cafés here (in the Pavillion) starting on Sunday 30th August 2026 and thereafter on the fourth Sunday of every month (on holiday in August and December).
Repair Cafés like this one are free community events. We match 'bringers' who carry in something broken with experienced 'fixers' who can help, in a relaxed 'café' environment. Around half of what is brought in gets fixed.
We'll help you fix it yourself and\or do it for you under your control.
