About this Event
This landmark initiative reflects on the past, present and future of modern language scholarship and education in Ireland. Over the course of the four-year, multi-institutional project, researchers, educators, policymakers and practitioners have come together to explore the contribution of modern languages to culture, education, research and international engagement. The final report captures the insights, challenges and opportunities identified through this work, and sets out recommendations to support language learning, teaching and research in Ireland for the years ahead.
This event will present the project's key findings and celebrate a significant contribution to language policy, multilingualism and public discourse. We invite all those with an interest in languages, education, culture and public policy to join us for this important discussion.
