About this Event
We look forward to guiding you through the Robert A. Facchina Italian American Museum of Washington DC (IAMDC). Explore the surprising sites where Italians have left their mark on the nation's capital. Discover the unique community of Italian Immigrants who settled in Washington. Delight in three galleries of art work by local, contemporary Italian American and Italian artists. Plus, entry is free (donations are greatly appreciated).

IAMDC is located at 229 F ST NW, Washington, DC 20001 (3rd, and F Street), around the corner from the historic Holy Rosary Church and across the street from the Capital Jewish Museum. Judiciary Square Metro (Red Line) is one block away and Union Station is about a 10–15-minute walk away. Metered street parking is available but limited; there are parking garages nearby.

The museum is vertical, occupying 4 lobbies of the Centro Scalabrini and gallery spaces. Floors are reached by elevator and are wheelchair and walker accessible. Please note, no food, liquids or oversized bags are permitted.

The tour is guided and lasts from 60 to 90 minutes, depending on your schedule, and is not geared for children under 12. We hope to see you soon!
