We will read this masterpiece of Spanish theatre, step inside a household ruled by authority and appearances, and follow Bernarda and her five daughters as we explore a society shaped by repression, honour, gender inequality, and the desire for freedom.
We will then meet at The Book Bar to talk about what we have read, felt, and experienced through the play. Everyone pays for their own drink, and we will raise a glass to accompany our conversation about the book 🍷.
