To pay tribute to him, his son, Salim Saab, decided to film him to made a documentary about his career. Unfortunately, shortly after filming began, Walid Chmait passed away on February 26, 2024, at the age of 82. Determined to honor his father's memory, Salim Saab continued the project by gathering testimonies from those who knew and worked with him.
