About this Event
Toronto Public Library is partnering with the Toronto Jewish Film Festival to make a limited number of complimentary tickets available to select screenings at this year's festival. Simply register for your ticket on Eventbrite, and give your name at the theatre box office for admission.
In Kichka: Telling Myself (directed by Gad Aisen), Belgian-Israeli cartoonist Michel Kichka, a second-generation Holocaust survivor, explores memory, trauma, and family history with humour, honesty and visual clarity. Through interviews, archival footage, and animation, filmmaker Gad Aisen shows how Kichka engages with both past and present—including October 7—revealing how art can confront difficult histories, bear witness, and helps society process ongoing realities.
Please Note: Registration will close 24 hours prior to the screening time.
If complimentary tickets are sold out here, tickets may still be available for purchase on the or at the box office.
