It's Back.... Black Business After Hours - Topeka is a social meet & greet for Black business owners, professionals, nonprofit executives, neighborhood & community leaders, educators, corporate professional and our friends & allies to network and share information. To end the year (2026) we will provide an overview of the State of Black Topeka from a local/state 'Economic Viewpoint' covering what we know about current & future opportunities, changes in local/state policies that will impact our businesses, organizations and people in general, and to hear from those with information about opportunities or concerns we all should to know about...
We had met on a consistent basis for numerous years until around 2022, things changed, but now it's time that we get back on track to connect & grow from where we are.
There's no cost to join us, but we do ask that you let us know if you will be attending by clicking 'going' on this event page.
Thank You Gil Carter Initiative for Sponsoring this event and for providing the food & refreshments... We plan to begin hosting Black Business After Hours on a quarterly basis in 2027; but reserve the right to move it to monthly if there is adequate community support.
You can also send a confirmation email to [email protected], a direct message from here, or let us know through our Ujamaa Club Black Business Directory Contact Us page... including any 'dietary' restrictions i.e. Vegan, etc...
