About this Event
This in-person and free event is for professionals and academic stakeholders interested in tokenisation, ESG reporting and management accounting, with opportunities for discussion and networking.
From data to decision
Funded by AICPA-CIMA, the project examines how blockchain-based digital tokens can represent environmental metrics and assets, such as carbon credits and biodiversity units and reshape ESG data reporting.
The research considers implications for performance measurement, sustainability costing, risk management and internal controls. It is timely for practitioners navigating digital ESG infrastructure and reporting expectations, including CSRD and IFRS S1 and S2.
This second in-person event will share the findings with practitioners and academic stakeholders, and lay the foundation for a permanent advisory forum on tokenisation and ESG reporting, potentially supporting ongoing engagement with industry and academia. This event is also supported by the Accounting and Accountability Research Group at the Queen Mary Business School
