About this Event
We have spent a lot of time this year working towards the election, but it's important to remember how vital local action is to protecting democracy.
A healthy, happy, and well-fed community is where democracy starts. And while the election is now over, the work of strenghtening community is never done. So this is our way of giving our neighbors the resources they need to thrive, to go to school fed and ready to learn, to save every dollar towards housing and clothes and all the other expenses of life.
Every $1 you give, the Food Bank can provide 2 meals to our neighbors in need! Click the link to go to our external fundraising page and support through monetary donations!
Or donate certain shelf-stable foods directly to Manny's, where we will transport several batches of donations to the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank. We are looking for:
- Tuna, canned meat
- Peanut butter
- Soup, chili
- Beans
- Cereal
- Canned fruit and vegetables
- Rice, pasta & oats
Bring these to Manny's any time, any day until Friday 11/20, and we will get these goodies over to the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank. Thank you for your support!
