Come and join us for a play reading. No lights, no props, no costumes - just you & a script you've never seen before!
Held on the last Tuesday each month (except for September & December 2026) we try to provide a variety of fresh, new works, plays by local authors and better known pieces as reading material.
Members and potential members of Townsville Little Theatre are welcome to join us at no charge, though we do ask you to book so we can have enough seats.
Please note this is NOT a performance, it’s a group of people reading aloud from play scripts they have probably never seen until the event. Participants are encouraged to read aloud as a character in the play. Roles may be swapped throughout the reading to give others an opportunity to participate or simply to see how another person interprets the script.
