About this Event

Tiny Vipers is the music project of American singer and multi-instrumentalist Jesy Fortino. Known for its minimalism, her style combines elements of folk, ambient, and atmospheric music and is characterized by sparse instrumentation, often using just an acoustic guitar and vocals. Fortino's work spans across several albums, EPs, and collaborative projects, earning her recognition within indie music. Her music has been praised for its emotional depth, trance-like qualities, and stark approach. Tiny Vipers signed with Sub Pop Records in the mid 2000s, releasing her debut album Hands Across the Void. Her follow-up album, Life on Earth was released on July 7, 2009, further solidified her reputation as a unique voice in contemporary folk. In 2012, Fortino released a collaborative album with Liz Harris of Grouper, under the name Mirrorring. Tiny Vipers returned with a new EP in 2024 titled American Prayer and Tormentor in October 2025, Fortino's fourth album which stands out as a triumphant, self-released return that masterfully blends Jesy Fortino's signature slowcore indie folk with haunting, ambient textures.

Chantal’s Acda's sound moves between indie folk, ambient and contemporary jazz, an impressive range of styles according to Rolling Stone. Her live shows carry a mesmerizing, low-key intensity that goes beyond the records. Chantal Acda is a Dutch-born, Belgium-based singer-songwriter known for her deeply emotional songs, fragile voice, and genre-crossing sound. Over the past two decades, she has quietly built a reputation as one of Europe’s most distinctive and collaborative musical voices. Acda first gained recognition through several bands and projects, including Sleepingdog, Isbells, Marble Sounds, and Distance, Light & Sky. These diverse collaborations shaped her musical language and led her to explore a more personal artistic path.
