Participation in or completion of this workshop does not constitute or replace any state, county or municipal tattoo/body-art licensing, registration, apprenticeship, education, establishment or other legal requirement.
Certificates issued are Certificates of Workshop Completion only. They document completion of the applicable workshop and do not constitute a professional tattoo/body-art license or independently authorize the recipient to perform tattooing, permanent makeup, paramedical tattooing or other regulated services on the public.
Tattoo, body-art and permanent-makeup laws and requirements vary by jurisdiction. Depending upon where an individual intends to practice, additional education, apprenticeship, BBP training/certification, examinations, practitioner registration/licensing, establishment permits, inspections, insurance and/or other requirements may apply.
Each participant is responsible for researching and satisfying all applicable state and local requirements before offering services to the public.
Any live-model participation is subject to applicable laws and regulations, facility requirements, instructor approval, appropriate consent and safety protocols. Any separately identified BBP certification is subject to the requirements and successful completion of the applicable certification program/provider.
