About this Event

Making the Past: A Fall Workshop Series

Discover the artistry and traditions of Pennsylvania Dutch culture through this hands-on workshop series at the Sigal Museum. Inspired by the rich folk traditions that have shaped our region for generations, this three-part series invites participants to explore historic crafts while learning about the history, symbolism, and cultural significance of each.

Whether you're new to crafting or looking to build on your skills, each workshop offers a welcoming environment for learning traditional techniques and creating a handmade project to take home. Attend individual sessions or join us for the entire series to experience the breadth of Pennsylvania Dutch artistic traditions.

Part craft workshop and part history lesson, this series offers a unique opportunity to connect with the people, customs, and creativity that have helped define Pennsylvania Dutch heritage in Northampton County and beyond.
