About this Event
Volunteers will get to tour an active restoration site that is not normally accessible to the public, learn about restoration goals and techniques, view wildlife, and improve the health of the San Francisco Bay. This event will focus on removing invasive plants to help establish a native plant community the supports wildlife and human populations.
Bring sun protection and layers for warm and cold weather, sturdy shoes, clothes that can get a little dirty, and water. Please note that volunteers will not have access to restroom facilities during the event and will have to drive on a graded dirt road for a short distance.
Please drive under 25 miles per hour when entering Horner Street and when accessing the trail. This is a residential area and kids are often at play near the streets, and driving slowly is expected for their safety.
