About this Event
Date: October 3, 2026 (weather permitting)
Time: 8:30am - 11:30am
Location: Meet at the parking lot for the Eden Landing Check Station in Union City (37.596161, -122.090855). SFBBO staff will direct you to where you can park.
Driving: Volunteers should be prepared for a short carpool drive on a graded dirt road.
Physical Activity: This event will involve carrying 5-10 lb buckets over potentially soft or slippery ground. Volunteers may also need to cross a short stretch of water using a wooden plank. Rubber boots are strongly recommended.
Facilities: There are no restrooms at the site. Please plan accordingly.
Health: If you feel sick, please stay home and inform us that you need to cancel. Get well soon!
What to bring:
· Protective clothing: clothes you don't mind getting dirty, sun protection, layers, please bring rubber boots if you have them, as the pond may be muddy in areas.
· Snacks & water - we will provide some, but you are welcome to bring your own as well
