Host Alex Paxton takes the controls for Thursday Night Metal as we turn up the volume on Led Zeppelin’s adventurous 1970 hard-rock turning point, Led Zeppelin III.Across 90 minutes, Alex guides us through the sonic balancing act that shocked critics and defined the band's evolution—bridging the heavy, blistering riffs of "Immigrant Song" with the acoustic folk, country-blues, and Celtic textures conceived at the remote Welsh cottage Bron-Yr-Aur. It’s a tight, focused session offering extra narrative context and related tracks while keeping the pacing punchy.
We’ll kick off with a look into the album's rustic origins, its heavy blues roots, and how Zeppelin reshaped hard rock before playing the record in full. On our reference-grade audio system, every thundering John Bonham kick drum, intricate Jimmy Page acoustic line, and soaring Robert Plant vocal will hit with pristine analog weight.
Grab a front-row seat, order a drink at the bar, and crank up a rock classic in pure hi-fi power.
Doors open at 6:30 PM | Intro & Program begins at 7:00 PM.
