Matching will be powered by Matchbox. Itâs a software that uses relationship science to find your most compatible match at the party. The algorithm has matched more than half a million people to date, across 40 countries. It optimizes for long-term compatibility, based on valuesâbut itâs up to you to see if youâll click.
How it works:
Upon arrival, youâll take a matching questionnaire built by Matchbox's team of relationship scientists and curated by your host.
The Matchbox algorithm will identify your optimal match at the party, based on relationship science, AI, and Nobel Prize-winning economics.
After mingling with the whole group, matches are revealed!
What to expect:
The matching process is highly intentionalâcome with an open mind.
If your match isnât love at first sight, thatâs okay! The algorithm is designed for long-term compatibility, so at baseline, youâll be values-aligned.
At the end of the day, this will be a great group of single people. Enjoy meeting everyone, and remember to be kind.
Event Structure:
- 7:00pm : the event begins
- 8:45pm : doors close, the algorithm begins computing matches
- 9:00pm : a series of clues
- 9:45pm : matches revealed
FAQs:
Q: What if I don't get a match? A: We aim to maintain a 50/50 male to female ratio but cannot guarantee that all attendees will show up, as life happens. If there is an uneven split, some matches will be paired platonically. These people receive a free ticket to a future bar event of their choice, valid for 60 days after this event.
