Threads of Culture: Celebrating the Philippines through Felt
Join us for a special afternoon of creativity, connection and culture as part of our Threads of Culture series, a programme of free workshops celebrating the communities that call Jersey home.
In this session, we will be inspired by the rich symbolism and craft heritage of the Philippines to create your own needle felted artwork. Through colour, pattern and thoughtful design, we will explore storytelling through making and celebrate the beauty of cultural tradition. No experience is needed, just bring your curiosity and an open heart.
While all are welcome to attend, each workshop has been specially designed to celebrate and connect with members of the cultural community being highlighted
These workshops are designed as welcoming and relaxed spaces where creativity becomes a bridge between cultures. Together, we slow down, make with our hands, and connect through shared experience, celebrating diversity while nurturing a sense of belonging across our island community.
