About this Event
Thread Therapy: Lap Loom Weaving | Thursday, November 12, 2026
When’s the last time you gave yourself permission to just... be? Join us at Donkey & Goat for an evening where color becomes your meditation and every thread you weave is a small act of rest.
Thread Therapy is what happens when creative play meets intentional slowness. You’ll learn lap loom weaving, an ancient, portable fiber art that’s equal parts calming and creative. Whether you’ve never touched a loom or you’re craving a creative reset, this evening is designed to help you exhale.
We’ll start with gentle breathwork to shift from the day’s energy into creative presence. From there, you’ll learn to warp, weave, and find your rhythm, with expert guidance right beside you. By the end, you’ll have your own handwoven piece and the skills to keep weaving at home. In a world obsessed with speed, weaving asks you to be patient. Thread by thread, row by row, something beautiful emerges beneath your hands.
