About this Event
Chakras is an immersive live experience that brings together guided meditation, sound bath, and original chamber music in a journey through the seven chakras.
Created by composer, percussionist, professor and meditation teacher Thor Bremer, the performance moves from grounding and embodiment through creativity, power, compassion, expression, insight, and awareness. Each chakra unfolds through meditation, the resonant sounds of singing bowls, gongs, bells, and percussion, and original music performed by a live 7-member ensemble, including the Bloom String Quartet.
Part concert, part meditation, and part sound immersion, Chakras invites you to listen deeply and experience the music not only as sound, but as sensation moving through the body. No previous meditation experience or knowledge of the chakras is required.
