After a fantastic Saturday Afternoon in February at this venue when apparently the 100 attendees there achieved a record Sat Arvo bar take, we thought we'd do it again but this time with the addition of the irrepressible Bahne Super-Flex to see if we can break the Saturday Night record before the venue shuts for good a month later.1978 will kick off the night with their renditions of classics by The Clash, Only Ones, Magazine and other punk and new wave luminaries.
Setting Sons will then pick up the baton and run with it as they go through a set of hits from The Jam including Town Called Malice, Going Underground and Eton Rifles.
And Bahne Super-Flex will bring it home with a set featuring high energy versions of artists as diverse as The Pretenders, Boz Scaggs and Alive Cooper.
It will be sweaty.
$15 on the door.
