NOVEMBER EVENT
Waging Peace: How to Make a Case with Courage, Listen with Curiosity, and Find Common Ground
with Josh Duelm
Most of us were never taught how to disagree well. We picked it up along the way, in meetings that went sideways and conversations we wish we could redo. Josh Duelm has spent more than twenty years teaching it on purpose.
As a history and debate teacher, and the coach of a Model United Nations team that travels to New York each year, Josh trains young people to argue with conviction, listen to the other side with humility, and look for the ground they share. Those are the same skills that make a strong leader, a healthy team, and a community that can work through hard questions together.
Drawing on his work in the debate room and the Montessori classroom, Josh will share what he’s learned about listening, arguing, and finding common ground, and how those lessons apply to the negotiations, team meetings, and tough conversations in your own work and life.
Stop leaving your reputation to chance. Leave this session with an understanding of what you’re currently known for, and a practical blueprint to intentionally cultivate the reputation you want.
