THERE'S A PLACE FOR YOU IN THE LEAGUE!Have you been wondering how to get more involved with the League of Women Voters of the Edwardsville Area (LWVEA)? Or perhaps you're curious about what the League does and how you can be part of it. This is the meeting for you!
Join us Tuesday, November 17, at 6:30 PM at the RP Lumber Center for an opportunity to connect, learn, and discover the many ways to participate in our work.
We'll share a brief history of the League, hear from committee leaders about their projects and activities, and leave plenty of time to chat, ask questions, and mingle with fellow members.
The League is a nonpartisan, civic-minded organization dedicated to empowering voters and strengthening democracy through education, advocacy, and community engagement. There are many ways to contribute, whether your interests lie in voter education, community outreach, advocacy, or helping behind the scenes.
Not a member yet? You're welcome, too! This meeting is open to the public. Come learn about the League, meet our members, and find out how you can get involved.
You don't have to be an expert in government or politics to make a difference. You just need an interest in your community and a desire to be part of positive civic engagement.
We'd love to meet you!
