About this Event
Join us at Havergardd Community Garden for a welcoming therapeutic horticulture session designed specifically for unpaid carers. This gentle, supportive session offers time to connect with nature, meet others with shared experiences, and focus on personal wellbeing.
Through seasonal gardening activities such as planting, sowing, harvesting, and and mindful time outdoors, participants are encouraged to enjoy the restorative benefits of being in green spaces at their own pace. No gardening experience is needed.
The session aims to support emotional wellbeing, reduce stress, build confidence, encourage social connection, and create opportunities for reflection and relaxation in a calm community setting.
Activities are adaptable and accessible, with opportunities to participate actively or simply enjoy being in the garden environment. Carers are welcome to attend by themselves or with those they care for. Refreshments and informal conversation are included.
Suitable for unpaid carers aged 12+.
Come as you are and spend time nurturing both the garden and yourself.
